About the Role

Soar Autism Center is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality care to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve the communication abilities of children aged 2-6, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques and instruments.
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and optimize outcomes for children.
  • Engage families in the treatment process through education, resources, and support, empowering them to foster their child's speech and language development.
  • Regularly evaluate and document progress, refining interventions as needed to maximize effectiveness.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • Licence to practice speech pathology in Arizona or Colorado.
  • Prior experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) or a willingness to learn from our clinical teams.
  • A playful spirit and ability to connect and engage with young children.
