Nurse Practitioner

St. Joseph Manor is a 5 Star Award Winning Community offering competitive hourly rates up to $44.00/hour, with additional differentials for evening/night and weekend shifts. A $6000 sign-on bonus is available, along with opportunities for growth and an educational assistance program providing up to $8000 per calendar year for nursing programs.

Summary of JobWorking under the direction of a supervisor and/or nurse manager, you will direct and take responsibility for the total care of residents on a team. You will implement interventions designed to achieve the goals and objectives of the resident plan of care, all within a resident-centered framework in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
Connecting to MissionAll work is performed within a resident-centered framework, recognizing the value of each person as an individual. You will support and promote resident/patient strengths and abilities, capacity for social contribution, unique values, preferences, living habits, and autonomy of choice. Embracing a vision of aging that is meaningful and relationship-based, you will function as a role model for staff.
Recruitment Requirements- Current RN license
- Previous experience preferred
- Demonstrates position communication skills
- Ability to relate to staff in a professional manner
- Must be flexible with scheduling
- Computer experience preferred
- Demonstrates sensitivity to residents' emotional, social, mental health, and spiritual needs
- Previous experience in a rehab setting preferred
- Must be able to interact well with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Able to exercise sound professional judgment
- Able to respond to emergency situations
