We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at the Alaska Native Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various vascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vascular ultrasound examinations, including Doppler studies and duplex scans
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations and results

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in echocardiography or vascular sonography
  • Current certification in BLS and RDCS-Adult
  • Ability to obtain RVT certification prior to start date
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CERNER
  • Knowledge of 3D echo and pharmacological stress echocardiography

The Alaska Native Medical Center is a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will work in a team-based setting, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. You will be required to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, and may be called upon to work in multiple locations within the hospital.
