About the Role

BWXT Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Strategic HR Business Partner to join our Technical Services Group. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a pivotal role in aligning human resources practices with the strategic goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with managers to provide day-to-day HR guidance and support
  • Partner with management and employees to promote positive employee relations, enhance work relationships, and foster career development
  • Monitor workforce planning and provide full-cycle support to meet staffing plans
  • Analyze trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive business decisions
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and provide HR policy guidance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a closely related field
  • 5 years of progressive experience as a human resource professional
  • Prior experience leading continuous improvement and/or operational excellence initiatives
  • Ability to travel and complete scheduled short-term assignments at assigned facilities/locations across the U.S.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10 years of progressive experience as a human resource professional
  • Prior experience in human resources working with Department of Energy (DOE) government contracts
