We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Physical Therapist to join our team at UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital. As a Travel PT, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients in our acute care setting.
Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services to patients in our acute care department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a variety of medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct patient education and training on proper exercise techniques, wound care, and other relevant topics.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Kentucky.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care physical therapy, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other relevant software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Experience with Epic EMR system.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and other relevant specialties.
