Job Description:

Stine Seed Company, a leading national seed company, is seeking an experienced Independent Sales Representative to cover the Southern Illinois territory. This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally and financially with a respected corn and soybean seed company.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services.
  • Manage existing dealer accounts and recruit new dealerships to increase sales.
  • Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies within the assigned territory to meet sales goals.
  • Work in conjunction with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide a high level of sales support within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers.
Requirements:
  • Three or more years of ag experience, including previous experience in agronomy, crop production, or seed sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques and excellent negotiating skills.
  • Demonstrated success in dealer development and retention.
  • Initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision to meet established goals.
