Job Summary

The Material Handler is a critical role within the Rich Products Corporation team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and transporting packaging, ingredients, and finished goods for our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Operations
    • Ensure all safety rules and regulations are followed, including the use of personal protective equipment and material handling.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Inventory Management
    • Verify all deliveries and discrepancies by inspecting materials and comparing quantities to delivery receipts.
    • Enter necessary documentation into our computer system.
  • Supply Chain Coordination
    • Organize and rotate old materials with new.
    • Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including removing and fixing dirty, torn, or broken materials.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Assist management with inventory balances through physical cycle counts.
    • Label open or partial ingredients and packaging.
    • Check production schedules daily to stage packaging and ingredients as needed.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • One year or more of material handling experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Basic math and computer skills.
    • Able to work with minimal supervision.
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
    • Regularly stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility.
    • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
    • Meet manufacturing facility safety requirements.
