Academic Physiatrist

At JAG Physical Therapy, we are seeking a highly skilled Academic Physiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch physical therapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and record patient care data in accordance with department policies and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare for evaluations, including obtaining patient history and researching unfamiliar diagnoses.
• Identify need for consultations and/or refer patients to other healthcare professionals or services.
• Provide education and training to patients and their support systems.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including exercise prescription and community reintegration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in.
• Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in the appropriate state (NY, NJ).
• Valid CPR License.
• Experience/knowledge with EMR software preferred.
