Foreman B

Join Riceland Foods, a leading cooperative of family farmers, as a Foreman B in our Jonesboro, AR warehouse. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for organizing operator personnel and equipment to ensure daily production goals are met.

• Ensure food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures.
• Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering the work area and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor.
• Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.
• Assign daily job tasks and communicate with Supervisor on daily needs.
• Ensure sewing machines, label machines, etc. are in proper working condition.
• Verify all bags are weighed properly and code dates are on bags to be shipped.
• Ensure paperwork is correctly filled out and employees are wearing personal protective equipment.
• Perform any assigned job by supervisor and wear PPE.
• Show and understand HACCP program and ensure metal detectors are in good working condition.
• Explain how metal detectors work and the metal detection policy.
• Must have a valid forklift license and ability to operate a computer.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate with employees and inspect trucks to fill out paperwork properly.
• Ensure trucks and box cars are loaded properly and bags and pallets are in place for loading the next day.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training.
