We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our esteemed team at Ascension Borgess Hospital. As a key member of our medical staff, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients and contribute to the advancement of cardiothoracic surgery.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with complex medical conditions, utilizing advanced diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Coordinate discharge planning with case management to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in academic programs, including medical education and research, to enhance your skills and contribute to the growth of our medical community.
- Provide high-quality documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations for specialty cases, including on-call schedules.
To be considered for this position, you must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree and be credentialed by the Michigan Board of Medicine. Additionally, you should have experience in cardiothoracic surgery and be proficient in using Cerner EMR systems.
