About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including texture modified and therapeutic diets, following facility menus and established guidelines.
  • Assist in receiving, storing, and preparing food, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Support the Dining Services Director and other team members as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment and proper food handling practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in food preparation is a plus.
  • Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
