Job Summary

The Staff Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for implementing the philosophies, objectives, standards of care, and policies and procedures of the Nursing Division under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct patient care and functioning as a charge nurse according to the Nurse Manager's expectations for an assigned shift.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conducting thorough assessments, identifying patient needs, and prioritizing care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • A current RN license with the North Carolina State Board of Nursing or Compact License recognized by the North Carolina State Board of Nursing.
  • Knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate effectively to patients, families, physicians, and staff.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
