Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Transplant and Cellular Therapy (TCT) unit. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the care of blood and marrow transplant patients, patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders, patients experiencing oncological emergencies, and others meeting admission criteria.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional care to patients with complex medical needs
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in their status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of acute nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) - preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) and/or Blood & Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN) certification preferred
