About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physician Consultant to join our team at Delta Companies. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert consultation services to primary care providers, determining the type of psychiatric treatment required for each patient, and managing their care in either a primary care or outpatient behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with primary care providers to develop effective treatment plans for patients with complex psychiatric needs.
  • Consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Determine the most appropriate treatment setting for patients, either primary care or outpatient behavioral health.
  • Manage patient care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in medicine or equivalent experience.
  • Board certification in psychiatry or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits

As a Physician Consultant at Delta Companies, you can expect a competitive salary range of $256,313.89 to $410,102.22 per year, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including:

  • No state tax, allowing you to retain more of your earnings.
  • Relocation assistance of up to $30,000.
  • Sign-on bonus of 10% of base salary.
  • Retention bonus of 10% of salary after two years of service.
  • Five days' paid CME allowance and additional expenses covered.
  • Student loan repayment program through NHSC and ISH.
  • Annual base increases up to 7%.
  • Over 400 hours of paid PTO per year, plus 13 federal holidays.
