Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive financial analyses to derive insights regarding the company's manufacturing activities.
  • Work alongside cross-departmental teams to collect and interpret financial data.
  • Generate and present financial reports, including performance summaries on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing precise financial projections and strategic recommendations.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for enhancement in manufacturing operations.
  • Evaluate product profitability and pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness and optimize profit margins.
  • Support capital expenditure assessments and offer financial justifications for investments in new equipment, technology, or expansion initiatives within the manufacturing sector.
  • Analyze the financial implications of changes in manufacturing processes and propose strategies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely recording of manufacturing-related financial transactions and compliance with financial controls.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to facilitate decision-making, including cost-benefit evaluations and special projects as required.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices pertinent to financial management in manufacturing.
  • Utilize financial modeling techniques and software to simulate scenarios and evaluate potential risks and opportunities for the manufacturing division.
  • Engage in regular discussions with the manufacturing team to understand challenges and develop financial solutions that align with business objectives.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance-related role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Capability to work collaboratively across various functions.
