About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Telephonic Case Manager to join our team at CorVel Healthcare Corporation. As a key member of our case management team, you will be responsible for coordinating resources and creating cost-effective options for individuals in need of medical care. Your expertise will enable you to evaluate treatment plans for medical appropriateness and make recommendations to ensure timely return-to-work.

Key Responsibilities: Our ideal candidate will have strong clinical background in orthopedics, neurology, or rehabilitation, with experience in providing medical case management to individuals through coordination with patients, physicians, other healthcare providers, employers, and referral sources. Key responsibilities include providing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient progress, as well as evaluating treatment plans for medical necessity and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and be licensed as an RN in Minnesota with a Compact License. You should also have 3+ years of recent clinical experience, preferably in rehabilitation, and hold URAC recognized Case Management certification within 3 years of hire. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
