Job Summary

Med Center Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiology imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform radiology imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and localizing procedures, as directed by physician orders.
  • Patient Safety: Ensure patient safety protocols are followed during imaging procedures.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain department equipment, including portable procedures involving trauma, surgery, and routine floor work, and C-Arm equipment under sterile conditions.
  • Documentation: Document completion of examinations in patient records in accordance with department procedure.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of Radiologic Technology program required.
  • Certifications/Licensure: State of Kentucky Radiation Operator Certification (active or temporary) required. Registration with the ARRT required within 6 months of placement or hire.
Working Conditions

The Radiology Technologist will work in a fast-paced medical environment, interacting with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
