About This Opportunity

At Market District, we're seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a Specialty Foods Lead. In this role, you'll provide strategic direction and expertise in managing all aspects of non-perishable specialty foods, including grocery, dairy, frozen, Nature's Basket, Kosher, and World Wide Foods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Deli Distributor team in ordering, stocking, and managing products to ensure optimal inventory control and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement creative merchandising initiatives to drive business growth while meeting customer requirements and maximizing profits.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment to ensure health and OSHA regulations are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing plans that meet financial objectives.
  • Analyze customer satisfaction and employee feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food service or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
