Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in diagnostic radiology and competence in two additional modalities (CT, MRI, Angio, Cardiac Cath, Ultrasound, or Mammography).
Alternatively, a diagnostic technologist with 15 years of work experience in diagnostic radiology may also be considered. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate competence in all diagnostic fluoroscopic and surgical radiography procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
- Assume responsibility for specific radiographic procedures, including angiography, cardiac cath procedures, CT, MRI, or mammography procedures.
- Work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members, physicians, and the patient population.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to assist in the training and teaching of students and new staff members.
- Must be able to fill in for the department Supervisor as needed.
- Diagnostic technologist with 5 years of work experience in diagnostic radiology and competence in two additional modalities (CT, MRI, Angio, Cardiac Cath, Ultrasound, or Mammography).
- Alternatively, a diagnostic technologist with 15 years of work experience in diagnostic radiology.
ARRT and CRT certification required. CPR certification required. Quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire is also required.
