About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hospitalist to join our team in Arkansas as a locum tenens provider. This opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding experience, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hospitalist services to patients at a busy healthcare facility in Arkansas. The typical workload includes managing 12-15 patients per day, with occasional admissions. Our multidisciplinary team includes two full-time hospitalists during the day, supplemented by a mid-level provider. We have an open ICU policy and work closely with specialists in Pulmonary, Nephrology, and Cardiology for consults.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must have excellent clinical skills, with strong communication and teamwork abilities. While intubation experience is desirable, it is not a requirement for this role.
Benefits
This locum tenens assignment offers an attractive compensation package, which includes a salary of $250-$300 per hour, depending on experience. This hourly rate translates to an estimated annual salary of $150,000 - $180,000 for a standard 30-hour workweek.
