Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at AYR Wellness. As a key member of our staff, you will provide patient consultations and serve as a subject matter expert on cannabis pharmacological knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual patient consultations to determine the best therapy in conjunction with physician recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, and directives of the Medical Marijuana Program.
  • Protect patient rights by adhering to HIPAA guidelines and maintaining confidentiality of medical and financial information.
  • Remain up to date with company research on the palliative and curative potential of cannabis and its constituent cannabinoid chemicals.
  • Participate in physician and provider outreach and education programs.
Requirements
  • State licensure to practice pharmacy is required.
  • 2+ years' experience working in a customer-facing pharmacy setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, management, patients, governmental agencies, community members, and the public.
