Job Summary

TUV Rheinland of North America is seeking a highly skilled Wireless Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our testing team, you will be responsible for conducting RF compliance testing and ensuring that wireless devices meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • RF Compliance Testing: Conduct RF compliance testing to ensure that wireless devices meet CE and FCC standards.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Plan and execute RF testing, including setup, measurement, and documentation of tests.
  • Customer Interface: Interface with customers daily to discuss testing results and provide guidance on RF regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Initiatives: Support quality initiatives in the laboratory, including general maintenance, calibration, and testing process improvements.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate RF-related projects and track progress to ensure timely completion.
Requirements
  • RF Regulatory Knowledge: Good knowledge and operational skills on RF regulatory test equipment, including CE, FCC, and ISED standards.
  • RF Laboratory Experience: At least 3 years of experience in RF regulatory testing labs, preferably in the TIC industry.
  • Test Equipment Experience: Experience using lab test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, power meters, communication testers, and call boxes.
  • RF Testing Experience: Experience with RF testing for various wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, Zigbee, Thread, RFID, LoRa, and transmitters.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience required. TCB certification a plus.
