About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide one-to-one care to patients in their homes, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
  • Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as necessary
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner
  • Participate in and update the nursing care plan
  • Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes
  • Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention and implement care to prevent risk or reduce risk
  • Accept responsibility for personal and professional accountability by complying with company policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act
  • Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect both the staff and the patient according to OSHA standards
  • Educate the patient and family regarding the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, and in meeting the patient nursing needs
  • Maintain knowledge of competencies related to the nursing profession by participating in educational programs, continued education units, internal learning management skills, and skill evaluations
Requirements
  • 6 months experience as a practicing nurse (we offer an excellent New Grad Program for recent graduates)
  • Nursing License (must be active and in good standing with the board)
  • CPR Certification (must be current, Hands-on BLS)
