Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. As a PACU RN, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery area.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
  • Coordinate care planning with other disciplines and act as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals and participate in hourly rounding.
  • Observe safety guidelines and safe work practices, and may be asked to be in charge for a shift(s).
Requirements
  • Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications, with ACLS required upon orientation completion.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience, including neonatal ventilator experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Prefer 1 year of acute care experience, but will consider new graduates.
  • Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
