Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative and staff support to a department or group of professionals. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collects, compiles, moderately complex information to enter into the system (SAP).
  • Writes up orders for outside testing.
  • Delivers samples to mail room to be sent to outside testing labs.
  • Facilitates order expediates and retests.
  • Creates production orders for intercompany testing.
  • Records test results from outside testing into lab system.
  • Primary contact for outside testing vendors to request results and follow ups.
  • Hand delivers and receives documents between departments within the Company.
  • Files and scans documents to other Carpenter facilities.
