SSM Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at our Oklahoma City location. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of patient needs and care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in critical care nursing, preferably in an ICU setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
