Job Title:
Electrical Engineer

Our client, a leading engineering and sciences services company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Chantilly, Virginia.

Candidates will be responsible for designing and developing electrical power and control systems for commercial and government buildings. This includes working with the electrical team to create schematic designs, load calculations, and electrical systems designs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in AutoCAD and Revit software. They will also be proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems and products, and will support the implementation, testing, and commissioning of electrical power projects.

This is a hands-on environment, with a focus on client satisfaction. The team is friendly, outgoing, and highly technical, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation.


Top Skills & Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline2-5+ years of electrical design experience for buildings (power design, lighting design, load calcs, electrical systems design, power/control systems, schematic designs, etc.)Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit softwareWork SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Chantilly, Virginia.

Work EnvironmentHands-on environment. Service environment - everyone there is mechanically inclined and likes to tinker with electronics and mechanics. They work in cubicles and have a shop that they have techs working in. Fun, fast-paced, client-first team. Friendly and outgoing, very smart and technical team. Will work alongside other Electrical Engineers in the department.
