Special Education Teacher in Peabody, Massachusetts

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Peabody, Massachusetts. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing individualized instruction and support for students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique goals.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive classroom experience.
- Utilize innovative teaching strategies and technology to make learning fun, engaging, and impactful.
- Stay informed about Massachusetts special education regulations and advocate for students' needs while ensuring compliance with state guidelines.
- Must hold a valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher License (Moderate Disabilities, Severe Disabilities, or any other type).
- Must obtain or hold all required Massachusetts school clearances, including CORI, DCF background check, and National fingerprint-based background check.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field is required; Master's degree preferred.
- Prior experience working with students with disabilities is a plus, but new teachers are welcome to apply.
- Pay: $40-$50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

- Step 1: 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy recruiter.
- Step 2: 20-30 minute virtual interview with the school district.
- Final Step: Offer typically extended within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview.
