Job Summary

The MRI Staff Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, multi-tasked clinical environment. This role requires a strong commitment to excellence, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient care, taking into account the patient's developmental age and cultural diversity.
  • Perform patient assessments and reassessments to ensure accurate and effective care.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and operate equipment according to policy and procedure.
  • Comply with infection control procedures and maintain a safe environment.
  • Assume responsibility for professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Current RN license to practice in Massachusetts.
  • BLS and PALS certification.
  • Minimum five years of previous nursing experience, with prior ICU, PACU, or ER experience preferred.
Physical Requirements

The MRI Staff Nurse must be able to stand, walk, reach, and bend for a minimum of 8 hours per day in a fast-paced environment. The ability to assist in lifting and transferring patients who may weigh in excess of 250 pounds is also required.

Internal/External Interactions

This role requires extensive patient interaction with employees at all organizational levels, as well as moderate interaction with outside sources.
