Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Banquet Houseman to join our team at Kent Island Resort. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for overseeing the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring seamless execution of events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and break down banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, and equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors and staff to ensure timely and efficient event execution
  • Assist with guest facing events and provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Perform general cleaning tasks and side work as assigned
  • Attend mandatory meetings and adhere to established procedures
Requirements
  • Previous experience in banquet houseman or a related role
  • Basic knowledge of table settings, service ware, and menu items
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Motivation to work hard and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
