Henry Ford Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transplant Nephrologist to join our esteemed team at one of the nation's most prestigious health care institutions in Detroit, Michigan.
The successful candidate will become a valued member of our dedicated team of transplant nephrologists and surgeons at the Henry Ford Transplant Institute (HFTI), one of the largest kidney-pancreas transplant programs in the state of Michigan.
As a Senior Staff Physician, you will be responsible for staffing pre- and post-kidney pancreas transplant clinics, the inpatient service, and assisting with outreach efforts, waitlist management, and living kidney donation.
You will also participate in selection committee meetings, quality assurance and process improvement, and protocol development.
As a member of the 1,900-person Henry Ford Medical Group, you will collaborate with colleagues in over 40 medical and surgical specialties, utilizing the organization's EPIC electronic medical record.
Participation in teaching and research is actively encouraged.
Requirements:
- BE/BC in Internal Medicine and Nephrology
- Renal and pancreas transplant training, preferably from an AST-certified transplant nephrology fellowship
- Active State of Michigan license and DEA license
