Corporate Staff Attorney

SVI Recruiting Group is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Staff Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert advice on legal issues related to the timeshare industry, risk management, and contracts.

• Conduct thorough research on state statutes and case law to provide clear and concise summaries of findings in memoranda.
• Assist with ensuring compliance with state and local statutes by obtaining and maintaining the proper licensing and registrations for timeshare plans, telemarketing activities, real estate licenses, business licenses, state registrations, etc.
• Provide advice on legal issues including resort operations, risk management, consumer complaints, and commercial contracts.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with a balance of risk mitigation and business-orientation.
• Develop and deliver appropriate legal training to business team members.

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in real estate or as in-house counsel.
• Admission to a state bar required.
• Law Degree required.
• Strong ability to conduct thorough legal research on a variety of topics.
• Excellent legal writing skills for drafting various legal documents, including memoranda, commercial contracts, corporate documents, etc.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work with minimal supervision and have a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Communicate ideas effectively and concisely and collaborate with Senior Leadership and Departments throughout the company.
• Ability to develop strong, positive working relationships with the business and legal teammates.
