Job Summary

The Licensed Registered Nurse

This role is responsible for providing evidence-based clinical care to designated patients utilizing the nursing process.

Candidates should have graduate-level training from an accredited school of nursing and hold a BSN degree.

Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky and Indiana, or a state license letter of eligibility, is required.

The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of minimum clinical RN nursing experience and be able to demonstrate knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, procedures, policies, and competence in mathematical calculations associated with medication administration.


Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care according to established ethical/cultural codes and standards of nursing practices
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes
  • Demonstrate knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, procedures, policies, and competence in mathematical calculations associated with medication administration

Education and Experience

Candidates must have completed a graduate program from an accredited school of nursing and hold a BSN degree.

Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky and Indiana, or a state license letter of eligibility, is required.

A minimum of 18 months of clinical RN nursing experience is preferred.


Certifications and Competencies

Candidates should have demonstrated and documented competencies for the assigned clinical area.

Preferred certifications include those related to critical care and acute care nursing.
