Job Title: Residential Counselor - Crisis Intervention

Salary: $20.09 Hourly

Job Description:

As a Residential Counselor - Crisis Intervention, you will be responsible for providing crisis intervention and supportive counseling to residents, while also ensuring the overall safety and security of the facility. This includes conducting regular building walk-throughs, monitoring video surveillance cameras, and responding to emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crisis Intervention and Counseling: Provide supportive counseling and crisis intervention to residents, as needed.
  • Facility Safety and Security: Maintain the environment of the facility safely and securely, including monitoring video surveillance cameras and conducting hourly building walk-throughs.
  • Communication Logbook: Document significant building activities and events in the Communication Logbook.
  • Maintenance and Housekeeping: Perform light maintenance and housekeeping skills, such as picking up or emptying garbage, mopping up spills, shoveling snow, etc.
  • Visitor Management: Ensure all resident visitors provide identification and sign in the Visitor Log.
  • Fire Drills: Conduct monthly fire drills.

  • Ability to work effectively with others and demonstrate conflict resolution skills
