Part-Time Lifeguard Job Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time lifeguard to join our team at the Elmhurst YMCA in Elmhurst, IL. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our members and guests while they enjoy our aquatic facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the pool area and respond to emergencies as needed
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations
  • Provide assistance to swimmers and non-swimmers as needed
  • Participate in training and certification programs to maintain current certifications
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 15 years of age
  • Must successfully complete the YMCA's Aquatics Academy training program or have current YMCA or American Red Cross certification
  • Must be physically and mentally able to respond to emergencies and administer CPR and First Aid effectively
