Physician - Emergency Medicine Specialist

The physician provides clinical care in an Emergency Department setting, adhering to evidence-based practices established within the service line. Collaboration and coordination with the clinical team are essential to ensure a seamless continuum of care. This role involves working in both the ED and on the inpatient floor as a hospitalist, with support from APPs in both settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency medicine or internal medicine with a strong background in inpatient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement individual treatment plans
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based medicine
Requirements
• MD or DO degree required
• Board eligible/board certified in EM with inpatient experience or Internal Medicine with EM experience
• WV Medical License required
