We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech to join our team at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist nursing service personnel with patient care activities, including vital signs, personal hygiene, and bed linen changes.
- Prepare and serve food trays, provide between-meal nourishment, and clean, sterilize, and store medical supplies.
- Work under immediate supervision and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
- Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor and requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
