Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Rightsourcing | Pikeville Health. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality services in areas of operation, planning and implementing the quality assurance program for the department, and evaluating technical and support staff in the delivery of their work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee staff in operation of imaging equipment in Cardiac catheterization and Electrophysiology labs.
  • Supervise the ongoing quality testing within the area with assigned personnel and outside vendors as necessary.
  • Implement and monitor radiation safety measures to ensure safety of patients and staff and compliance with government regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare work schedules and assign duties to workers to maintain patient flow and achieve production goals.
  • Help to ensure that department operates within budget.
  • Promote communication within on/an inter-departmental and intra-departmental level.
  • Supervise employees relative to performance and conduct, attendance, and adherence to department and hospital policies.
Requirements
  • Graduation from and accredited Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography program.
  • ARRT, KY Radiiation, BLS, EKG 2 years experience required, 5 years preferred.
  • Travel Experience Required.
