Job Title: Automotive Shop Technician

Are you a skilled problem-solver with a passion for automotive repair and maintenance? We're seeking a full-time Automotive Shop Technician to join our team at Roto-Rooter Plumbing Services in Ringgold, GA.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a strong understanding of automotive mechanical systems, including suspension, steering, brakes, HVAC, engine performance, and electrical systems. As an Automotive Shop Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on vehicles and equipment, collaborating with team members, and maintaining records of all repair and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on vehicles and equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective work processes
  • Maintain accurate records of all repair and maintenance activities
  • Repair plumbing equipment as needed
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • 3+ years of full-time experience in the auto repair industry or a diploma from an accredited vocational training center in auto repairs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of repair manuals, diagnostic equipment, and safety regulations
  • Knowledge of the standard tools, materials, and practices of the automotive mechanical trade
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in varied environmental conditions
Work Schedule
