About the Role

We are seeking a skilled AWS Developer to join our dynamic IT team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate AWS services with existing applications and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, conducting root cause analysis, and resolving production issues related to AWS infrastructure.
  • Design and implement security protocols for AWS environments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, APIs, and infrastructure designs.
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS tools and technologies, recommending new approaches to enhance cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in AWS development and cloud computing.
  • Strong proficiency with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, and API Gateway.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog) and performance optimization in cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and AWS IAM.
