This role is integral to the Real Estate Credit Team, collaborating with investment professionals across the Taxable Fixed Income division.
As a Portfolio Manager, you will have the chance to co-manage fixed-income portfolios within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Partner with portfolio management, research, and trading teams to oversee our CMBS portfolios.
- Provide market insights and support investment decision-making, portfolio positioning, sizing, and risk management.
- Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities in both primary and secondary markets.
- Deliver sector-level commentary and ideas to the broader team and other stakeholders.
- Establish and nurture relationships with investors, counterparties, and market participants.
Your Qualifications:
- Strong desire to learn, grow, and mentor within a collaborative investment environment.
- Over 10 years of experience in portfolio management with a focus on mortgage credit.
- Preferred experience in a buy-side, team-oriented setting.
- Exceptional quantitative, communication, and investment management abilities.
- Clear articulation of investment objectives to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Expertise in Excel, Intex, and PowerPoint, with strong skills in scenario-based financial modeling.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or MS degree and CFA designation are advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits:
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $225,000 to $250,000, with actual pay determined by various factors.
Eligible employees may receive an annual discretionary bonus based on firm, team, and individual performance.
