Job Overview

This role involves the maintenance and repair of spray apparatus (such as airless, conventional, electrostatic, and pressure washing equipment) either at the store or on-site for clients. Responsibilities include executing essential repairs, delivering training on equipment usage, and managing inventory as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in driving sales at a Sherwin-Williams paint outlet, catering to both wholesale and retail clientele.
  • Conduct repairs on various types of spray apparatus (including airless, conventional, electrostatic, and pressure washing equipment) at the store or at customer locations.
  • Perform hydraulic and warranty-related repairs.
  • Reconstruct pumps as needed.
  • Fix branch tinting and mixing machinery.
  • Provide education to fellow employees and customers regarding spray equipment.
  • Oversee the inventory of spray components.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for a work visa now or in the future.
  • Must be capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Hold at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have prior experience in repairing spray and/or hydraulic pumps and equipment.
  • Have at least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Possess previous experience in selling paint and related products.
  • Have experience operating tinting and mixing machinery.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
