We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Rhythm Monitor to join our team at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. As a Cardiac Rhythm Monitor, you will be responsible for identifying cardiac rhythms and notifying the nurse of changes in rhythm.

Responsibilities:
  • Watch a total of 41 rhythm channels in a central area
  • Assume responsibility for facilitating nursing unit operations under the direction of the RN
  • Perform clerical and specific patient care activities
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and patients
Requirements:
  • High school education or GED equivalent
  • Completion of an approved nursing assistant or unit secretary course
  • Previous experience as Unit Secretary preferred
  • Rhythm Identification Course within 90 days of hire
  • Strip Identification Test within 30 days of hire
  • BLS
