About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at Presbyterian Homes and Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Execute assigned responsibilities for buildings and grounds, including completion of daily work orders, building and equipment maintenance, and repair.
  • Participate in life safety compliance routines and ensure adherence to regulations and established policies.
  • Assist with painting, apartment turns, and other projects as assigned.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial or residential building maintenance.
  • Able to work independently, multitask, follow directions, and work under supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to participate in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation.
