We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a key member of our anesthesia department, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, and other medical and dental procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render patients insensible to pain during surgical procedures.
- Provide airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers to plan and coordinate perioperative care.
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and document findings.
- Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans of management.
- Provide education and training to staff, colleagues, and patients as needed.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and anesthesia.
- Master's degree required.
- Current State of Michigan RN License and CRNA Certification.
- Ability to work harmoniously in collaborative situations with anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced operating room environment, with frequent walking, bending, and lifting required. Exposure to communicable diseases and other hazards is possible. A valid driver's license may be required for some positions.
