As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages, from birth to geriatric, in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Kansas RN licensure or multi-state compact license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
- Current AHA ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- NIH Stroke training within 90 days of hire.
- TNCC and ENPC within 6 months of hire.
- PALS certification recommended but not required.
- 1 year minimum ER experience preferred.
