Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hyperbaric Technician to join our team at Mercy. As a Hyperbaric Technician, you will play a critical role in the safe and effective administration of hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Physician
  • Operate the hyperbaric chamber(s) and related support systems safely and effectively
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance on the hyperbaric chamber(s) and related support systems
  • Collaborate with the Program Director, Medical Director, and Clinical Coordinator to ensure the safe and effective delivery of hyperbaric oxygen therapy
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Active certification or licensure in one of the following vocations: Respiratory Therapist Corpsman (Military), Medical Services Specialist, Nurse Practitioner, EMT-Basic or Paramedic, Registered Nurse, LPN, or LVN Certified, Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT), or Physical Therapist
  • At least 1-2 years experience in chosen vocation
  • Current certification as CHT or DMT (interim status may be appointed until CHT or DMT certification is attained)
