About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with expertise in Java and Playwright Automation to join our team at Infosys. As a Test Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and validation of our products across various stages of the testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, design, and deploy test scripts and cases for complex modules
  • Help set up the test environment and contribute to requirements documentation and test design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative, high-quality, and defect-free solutions
  • Participate in the development of automation frameworks and create and maintain automation test plans across multiple applications
  • Provide training and support to team members on new or existing automation frameworks
  • Work closely with development teams to build a strong understanding of code and flows to participate in bug fixing
  • Scale up and optimize existing automation frameworks and set up new frameworks for new product BAUs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
  • 4 years of strong hands-on experience in automation using Java, Playwright, and Typescript
  • Strong knowledge of Selenium with Java, Cucumber (BDD), creating frameworks, writing test scripts, and test execution reporting
  • Understanding, designing, and developing automation frameworks
  • Experience in problem-solving in automation scripts, including observing patterns, analyzing root cause, and suggesting ideas to resolve issues
  • In-depth knowledge of automating products via APIs (SOAP and RESTful) and using commercial/open-source tools (RestAssured, Karate Framework, or any industry-leading solutions)
  • Knowledge of Spring Boot and React development is an added advantage
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with the Retail domain
  • Good experience in Performance testing and tools (JMeter/LoadRunner/K6)
  • Basic knowledge of Security testing
  • Ability to work in a team environment and client interfacing skills
  • Analytical skills
