Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a diverse team of analysts, engineers, and developers in a dynamic Agile environment.
  • Analyze project requirements to determine optimal architectural solutions that enhance functionality and client satisfaction.
  • Implement scalable data solutions that ensure high-quality data management and operations.
  • Utilize your expertise in Python to develop, test, and deploy scripts that support various data processing needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Python programming, including script development and testing.
  • Extensive experience with the complete ETL process, from data acquisition to database architecture.
  • Proficiency in Kafka or NiFi for data flow management.
  • Ability to create software solutions for processing both structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience working within a collaborative, cross-functional team setting.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience in data engineering projects that support AI and machine learning initiatives.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with distributed computing tools such as Spark, Databricks, or Hadoop.
  • Understanding of NoSQL databases, including MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like AWS Redshift or Snowflake.
  • Proficient in UNIX and Linux environments, including shell scripting.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
