Plater

Sterling Engineering Inc. is seeking a skilled Plater to support our Rack and Barrel Plating operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in electroless plating and metal finishing, with a strong understanding of basic chemistry and hazardous waste handling.

• Supporting Rack and Barrel Plating operations
• Racking, wiring, loading, and unloading of parts on racks or barrels as required
• Inspecting parts for plating defects, such as irregular appearance, blisters, and adhesion issues

• Must have plating/metal finishing experience, with electroless plating preferred
• Basic math skills required
• Knowledge of basic method of hazardous waste handling and disposal
• Knowledge of basic chemistry a plus
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to learn and operate X-Ray and Beta back scatter
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
